Junior Transactor Structured Export Finance / Associate (m/f/d)

 

Within the Banking Division, the Junior Transactor is a deal team member responsible for carrying out critical deal-related tasks from pitching to first disbursement under the responsibility of the Senior Transactor. The role is attached to the Structured Export Finance (SEF) team.

Within the Banking Division, SEF originates, structures, and executes export credit agency (“ECA”) supported financings in the infra and energy space in both developed and developing markets, across a wide range of structures from sovereign to cash-flow based financings. 
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with all external counterparties from deal inception to closing 
  • Follow up on leads including preparation of tailor-made pitches, soundings, or selection processes, factoring risk, funding, return and other aspects to design winning bids
  • Conduct review of deal-related teasers and due diligence packages to draft deal screeners, credit applications and other relevant memos, interacting with credit and with other relevant teams  
  • Analyse financial models and run sensitivity scenarios as need be
  • Draft letters of intent, indicative proposals, term sheets and mandate letters 
  • Participate in the negotiation of documentation and follow-up tasks to financial close

 

Our Requirements

  • Min of  3 years’ experience in project, export or asset finance in a credit, front office or portfolio management role with exposure to and understanding of export credit agencies
  • Sound credit analysis skills, numerical skills, self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment  
  • Educated to Masters’ level with fluency in English and another language (German preferred)

The position is governed by Austria’s collective agreement for bank employees. As a legal requirement, a minimum gross monthly basic salary of EUR 3.500 has been set. A competitive remuneration package will be offered together with various additional benefits.
