Junior Transactor - Structured Export Finance (Associate) (m/f/d)
Within the Banking Division, Structured Export Finance (“SEF”) originates, structures, and executes Export Credit Agency (“ECA”), Private Risk Insurer (“PRI”) and Development Finance Institution (“DFI”) supported financings in the infrastructure and energy space in both developed and developing markets, across a wide range of structures from sovereign to cash-flow based financings. The Junior Transactor is a core deal team member who is primarily responsible for carrying out critical deal-related tasks under the responsibility of the Senior Transactor.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with all external counterparties from deal inception to closing
- Follow up on leads including preparation of tailor-made pitches and market soundings
- Conduct review of deal-related teasers and due diligence packages to draft deal screeners, credit applications and other relevant memos, interacting with credit and with other relevant teams
- Analyse financial models and run sensitivity scenarios
- Assist in drafting letters of intent, indicative proposals, term sheets and mandate letters
- Participate in the negotiation of documentation and follow-up tasks to financial close
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in project and export finance
- Sound credit analysis and numerical skills
- Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Completed master's degree program
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; additional language desirable
The position is governed by the collective agreement for banks and bankiers. The annual minimum salary is EUR 60.000,-- based on the requirements mentioned above. A market compliant overpayment is of course possible, depending on your experience and qualifications.
