In this entrepreneurial growth environment, Kommunalkredit is looking to expand its Structuring & Execution team in Vienna. Structuring & Execution is responsible for analysing and executing investment opportunities for the bank. The team is strongly focusing on financing European infra assets (windfarms, data centers, etc.) through a wide range of products (senior and mezzanine debt, equity, etc.). As a part of its further development, the team is actively looking for highly motivated junior members.

Financial Modeller (m/w/d)


Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for building financial models from scratch as well as reviewing clients' financial models.
  • Research, compile and analyze financial, market and business information with the view to assess the creditworthiness and profitability of a transaction.
  • A full integration to Deal Teams, with direct contact to key stakeholders of a transaction (clients, advisors, etc.) will allow you to gain insights in the whole credit process from initial screening to signing and closing.
  • Provide ongoing support in the monitoring of closed transactions.
  • Various in-house trainings (e.g. financial modelling) will help you in your daily tasks.


  • Bachelor or Master degree (Finance, economics or technical).
  • Previous experience in investment banking / audit / advisory (at least via internships) required. Infrastructure or renewable experience would be a plus.
  • Stron quantitative and analytical skills and excellent knowledge and use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Solid financial modelling skills (VBA know-how would be a plus).
  • Fluency in English is essential (another European language would be a plus).
  • Flexible, open-minded and enthusiastic team player with an international mindset.

The position is governed by the collective agreement for banks and bankiers. We offer a market-compliant compensation, which starts from EUR 45.000 gross per year. Overpayment is possible, depending on your experience and qualifications.
