Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft Efficient Data Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines that streamline processing and integration across multiple systems. 
  • Own and Enhance Our Data Platform: Ensure the platform is performing at its best by reaching optimal performance and scalability. 
  • Deliver Meaningful Insights: Use your analytical skills to turn raw data into actionable insights that inform business decisions. Utilize tools like Tableau, to create dashboards and visualizations that highlight key metrics and trends. Develop custom reports and ad hoc queries to provide business stakeholders with insights.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Develop and implement comprehensive data quality frameworks in the data warehouse to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data. Automate quality checks within ETL processes and address data quality issues through root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Drive Cloud Migration: Be a key player in transitioning our on-premise systems to the cloud, enabling agility and future-proofing our data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with data migration projects, especially moving from on-premise to cloud.
  • Knowledge of financial data and SAP ERP systems (a nice-to-have, but not a must).
  • Proficiency in English required; working knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Strong skills in data visualization using tools like Tableau.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS Redshift or Snowflake, and a history of working with on-premise data warehouses.

In accordance with the collective agreement for bank employees and bankers, we ensure a remuneration that is in line with market standards and adjusted to your experience and qualifications. According to the collective agreement, the salary for this position starts at 3,500 euros. Additionally, we offer numerous benefits, including a job ticket, meal vouchers, flexible working hours, and opportunities for further training.
